The teacher's union is the best organized and has the most money to redistribute.   Most of that money IS your money.   Every levy that is passed is another nail in the coffin of our nation.

Today is "Armistice Day."   It is a tribute to the courage and sacrifice of our veterans.   They gave  their lives, limbs and time from family so that the world (especially the citizens of the United States of America) could live in freedom.  The freedom to earn a living, spend it as we wish and without a lot of intrusion from the government.   Why are people so willing to give up that freedom?

What Obama and I Learned at Columbia: How to Destroy America From Within

Remember when Geraldo opened Al Capone’s vault live on national TV? Well I’m about to solve the mystery of Obama. I’m about to break “the Obama code.” I’m about to tell you everything about the way Obama, and the people around him, really think. I’m about to rip open the true Obama plan to destroy our country. Because I was there when the plan was hatched.

How do I know all this? Because I was Barack Obama’s college classmate at Columbia University, Class of 1983. I was easy to recognize – the lone outspoken conservative in a class of 700 students. I knew I was in trouble when my first political science class at Columbia was “Communism 101″ taught by Professor Trotsky in the Fidel Castro Building, at the corner of Marx Blvd. and Lenin Drive.

I’m only half-kidding. My experiences at Columbia were not far off.

Everyone needs to hear my story because what Obama and I learned at Columbia explains EXACTLY what Obama is doing to America today.

The economy in deep decline; the disappearance of jobs; the annihilation of the middle class; the demonization of business owners; the destruction of small business with onerous regulations and taxes; the overwhelming debt and spending of out-of-control government; the millions of Americans losing their health insurance; and the unimaginable increase in dependency through welfare, food stamps, unemployment, disability, and now free  health care.

It’s all easily explained when you hear what Obama and I learned at Columbia.

America’s decline under Obama isn’t due to mistake, ignorance, or incompetence at the hands of a community organizer. It’s a purposeful, brilliant plan hatched at Columbia University to destroy capitalism, American exceptionalism, Judeo-Christian values, and the American Dream.

I never met Obama at Columbia. We were both Political Science majors, both Pre Law. We graduated on the same day. There were perhaps 100 to 150 of us in the Political Science department. And I thought I knew all of them.

America’s decline under Obama isn’t due to mistake, ignorance, or incompetence.

As the token big-mouthed conservative patriot, I know they all knew me. But not Obama. I never met him, saw him, or even heard of him. Not one of my friends at Columbia ever met him either. At our 30th class reunion last May, I could not find a single classmate who had ever met him. Strange story, but I digress.

What matters is what Obama learned and experienced at Columbia. My classmates hated America. They spoke with glee about one day  ”taking the system down.” They blamed America for “unfairness, racism, inequality, and lack of social justice.”

Recognize those words?

My classmates proudly called themselves socialists, communists, and Marxists. Even though almost all of them came from wealthy families (or perhaps because of it), they hated the rich and despised business owners. They talked about how the “white power structure” had to be dismantled, business owners bankrupted, and capitalism destroyed. Everything in their minds was based on “social justice.”

Sound like the policies of anyone you recognize in the White House? Does “We have to spread the wealth around” ring a bell? How about “If you own a business, you didn’t build that.”

How about Obama’s hatred of Republicans and refusal to negotiate with Congress? It’s clear he thinks he’s “morally superior” to conservatives. That attitude was born at Columbia too.

In 1981 when a student burst through the doors to our political science class and screamed  “The President has been shot. They’ve assassinated Reagan”… my classmates yelled, hugged, high-fived, and jumped up and down cheering the death of a Republican. Today most of my classmates are either in government with Obama, or controlling the mainstream media. They talk about “moderation and compromise,” but always remember 30 years ago they cheered for the death of a Republican.

But, there’s more. We were all taught a simple, but brilliant plan. My classmates discussed it 24/7. It was their “American Dream.”

By the time the middle class realizes he’s the killer and they’re the prey, they’ll already be dead.

It was called “Cloward-Piven,” after former Columbia professors Richard Cloward and Frances Piven. To bring down America and our capitalist system, they were taught to overwhelm the system with massive spending, entitlements and debt. That would cause the economy to collapse, wipe out the middle class, and bring Americans to their knees, begging government to save them.

It’s the exact plan Obama has been implementing. The centerpiece is Obamacare.

Obamacare isn’t about health care. It’s about bankrupting the middle class and addicting it to government dependency. It’s about redistributing wealth from the middle class and small business to Obama’s voters (the poor and unions). Its goal is to wipe out the last vestiges of middle class America, creating a two-class society: the super rich and the poor (both beholden to Obama).

Obama learned well, it’s working to perfection.

So that explains the plan. But how do you implement it? We were taught that at Columbia too.

A key component of the plan involved fooling the voters by calling yourself “moderate” and a “uniter,” even though you are a radical Marxist. We were taught to never admit what you really believe in. It involved demonizing your opponents, calling them “evil, greedy, extreme, radical, and terrorist.” Look in the mirror and call your opponents the very things you are.

Obama learned well.

The plan taught us to hide your true intensions (in other words- lie, misrepresent, commit fraud). So Obamacare is about “saving the uninsured,” as opposed to income redistribution.

Government regulations are to “protect us from global warming,” as opposed to wiping out small business.

Amnesty for illegal immigrants is about “fairness,” as opposed to creating 12 million new Democratic voters.

High taxes are to “create equality,” as opposed to starving Obama’s political opposition.

Obscene spending is always about “helping widows and orphans,” as opposed to bribing Obama’s voters.

Higher teacher salaries to reward terrible performance are “for the kids,” as opposed to enriching teachers unions so they can funnel hundreds of millions to Democrat politicians.

Bailing out GM was to “save jobs,” as opposed to saving bloated auto union pensions.

It’s always about lying to coverup the Marxist agenda of destroying the middle class, redistributing wealth, and putting big government in control of our every move. Why the lies? We were taught at Columbia that “It’s for the greater good” and “We know what’s best for those people” and ”The ends justify the means.”

Obama learned well.

But the key to it all is to “boil the frog slowly.” We learned at Columbia to set the fire low, so the frog wouldn’t complain. By the time he realized what was happening, he’d be cooked.

That’s why every Obama speech starts and ends with “I’m here to save the middle class,” while his actions are annihilating them. He’s boiling the frog slowly. By the time the middle class realizes he’s the killer, and they’re the prey, they’ll already be dead.

The root (excuse the pun) of every Obama policy, everything Obama does, and everything happening to the U.S. economy, all started at Columbia. The entire Obama agenda to overwhelm the system, wipe out the middle class, bankrupt small business, and destroy capitalism, was hatched at Columbia. Obama may not have attended class, but he learned well.

He should have received the Karl Marx Award for “Student Most Likely to Destroy America.”

Another Sicko Educator

This is from the EAG network and is another case of sexual perversion by an educator.  How many children are being abused by our school employees?   How many of these people are never exposed to the scrutiny that the rest of the population would be prosecuted?.   The union does protect its own and moves these sickos from one district to another.   Imagine, this guy was the leader of the OEA!


" DAYTON, Ohio – A former Ohio Education Association president who was twice caught with child pornography could face a very minimal six to 24 months behind bars for his crimes.

James Uphoff, 76, is a retired professor at Wright State University who had previously served as president of the Oakwood School Board and as president of the Ohio Education Association, the statewide teachers union.

Uphoff was convicted last month of possession of child pornography after police found 500 images and two videos on three computer devices at his Oakwood home, the Dayton Daily News reports.

“Court documents indicate investigators found hundreds of printouts depicting images of naked teenage boys and young adults in bondage and/or pornographic poses. Investigators also found on Uphoff’s computer devices hundreds of erotic stories of adults engaging in sexual acts with children and children engaging in sexual acts with other children,” the news site reports.

But that’s not all.

Two weeks ago, Uphoff was allegedly caught again with child pornography while out on bail. He was apparently throwing out some of his old porn materials at his son’s house in Dayton Oct. 22 – less than a week after he pleaded guilty and promised not to look at kiddy sex stuff, according to the Daily News.

Considering Uphoff’s long career in education, it’s curious that no one was aware of his pedophile tendencies until now. It’s unclear whether Uphoff was ever a classroom teacher with access to young children. It’s also unclear whether Uphoff ever acted on his sexual obsession with children.

Uphoff pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography last month as part of a plea agreement that carries a recommended sentence of six to 24 months in prison. The normal sentence for a possession of child pornography charge is up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

Uphoff is set to appear before Judge Walter H. Rice Jan. 21 for sentencing. The Daily News reports Uphoff’s bond was revoked because of his alleged child porn relapse, and he was booked into the county jail, but later released with new terms that include 24-hour electronic home monitoring and no access to the internet.

He will not be charged for the second offense.

Rice can accept Uphoff’s plea agreement in January, or reject it. If the judge rejects the arrangement, Uphoff’s guilty plea is revoked and he will have an opportunity to enter a new plea, the news site reports.
There seems no logical reason to grant Uphoff a more lenient sentence than a typical child pornographer, and his long history as an educator makes the crimes even more egregious.

If the judge rejects Uphoff’s plea agreement, he will be sending a message that child pornographers – no matter their age or background – should face stiff penalties for exploiting the young and vulnerable.


If he doesn’t, he’ll be sending an entirely different message altogether."

OBITUARY OF OUR NATION

Our nation is doomed if our people don't care enough to get out and vote.   Evil people are taking over our nation at every level of government.   We allow this to happen because we don't take time to investigate and research everything they are doing.   The propaganda that is believed by lazy citizens is killing our liberty on a daily basis.   Remember that only 20 per cent of the citizens fought in the Revolutionary War, but 100 per cent enjoyed the fruits of those 20%.

Our little town allows the union power brokers to run the schools, the townships and the city.   Wake up and see who is in charge and spending your money as they please.   Who gets the contracts?  Who sits on their duff with a phony position?  

Millions and millions of dollars are spent on construction, furniture, architectural plans etc. without bids.   These millions of dollars are coming right out of your grocery budget.   

The elderly have to consider if they can afford their prescriptions while the public employees are deciding what vintage of wine they'll enjoy with their expensive dinner.    If it is this bad in our little town, just imagine what is happening in Washington, D.C. and Columbus.

Scary Obituary

In 1887 Alexander Tyler, a Scottish history professor at the University of Edinburgh , had this to say about the fall of the Athenian Republic some 2,000 years prior: "A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government. Professor Joseph Olson of Hamline University School of Law in St. Paul, Minnesota, points out some interesting facts concerning the last Presidential election: Number of States won by: Obama: 19 Romney: 29 Square miles of land won by: Obama: 580,000 Romney: 2,427,000 Population of counties won by: Obama: 127 million Romney: 143 million Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by: Obama: 13.2 Romney: 2.1 Professor Olson adds: "In aggregate, the map of the territory Romney won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of the country. Obama territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in low income tenements and living off various forms of government welfare..." Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the "complacency and apathy" phase of Professor Tyler's definition of democracy, with some forty percent of the nation's population already having reached the "governmental dependency" phase.. 1. Common Core is a Federal Takeover of Education

 

The ultimate goal of Common Core is to have every school district follow the same national standards. This is a failed educational approach that will undermine educational quality and choice. States and local communities better know how to design standards based on their students and parents’ needs than Washington bureaucrats. 

 

2. Common Core is Bad for Parents

 

Parents will not have a say in their child’s education under Common Core. They will not be able to suggest changes to their local school’s standards or enroll their child in another public school with better standards. Common Core would limit parental choice and shut their voices out of their child’s education.  

 

3. Common Core is Bad for Teachers

 

Teachers would have little control over their classrooms under Common Core. They will be forced to comply with standards decided upon by federal bureaucrats. This leaves little to no room for teachers to innovate to meet the unique needs of their students. 
 

4. Common Core is Bad for Taxpayers

 

Common Core has a hefty price tag that will be paid by taxpayers in states. Washington State Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction estimates that Common Core will cost the state $300 million. California Department of Education estimates it will cost $759 million to implement the nationalized standards.   Common Core will cost taxpayers a lot of money while not improving education quality. This is stimulus money borrowed from Communist China adding to our National Debt.
 

5. Common Core is Bad for Students

 

Common Core is a one-size-fits-all education policy that assumes every students learns exactly the same. A top down and centrally controlled standards will hurt students’ creativity and learning.  Good education policy realizes that all students have different learning styles, preferences, and paces. 

 

6. Common Core Violates Privacy 

 

The Race to the Top Grants associated with Common Core violates privacy by “data mining” information about students that will follow them the rest of their lives. The information collected is more than just test scores and academic progress. Common Core will track information on religious practices, political beliefs, “sex behaviors and attitudes”, and more. 

 

7. Common Core Resembles Failed No Child Left Behind Program

 

A main criticism of the failed No Child Left Behind program is that teachers “teach the test.” This means that students are memorizing rather than learning and critical thinking about information. Common Core would resemble No Child Left Behind by requiring students to take national United Nations approved standardized tests to measure their progress.

 

8. Common Core is Unconstitutional 

 

The federal government should not control education. Since education is not specifically listed in the Constitution, the authority over education should be left up to the states and the people. This allows localities from New York City to rural Alabama to design unique curriculums that are best for their students. This means we must support Congressman Yoho and his bill to defund the unconstitutional Dept. of Education.

 

9. Common Core Will Require Some States to Move Backwards

 

Some states have advanced standards that are designed with students and parents in mind. Sandra Stotsky, a professor at the University of Arkansas, who served on the committee to validate Common Core standards said, “The standards dumb American education down by about two grades worth.”   Some states would have to move their standards backwards to comply with Common Core standards. 
 

10. Common Core Is a Failed Education Approach

 

Washington has tried one-size-fits-all education approaches time and time again. Centralized education programs have not worked and will never work. The quality of education has only declined over the past few decades. The solution is to get the federal government out of the education business.  

 

11.  Common Core is Marxist indoctrination

 

The Standards were written by a British Socialist who believes in preparing students to be workers for the state not critical thinking individuals. Its collective indoctrination not individual achievement through competition.

I often state that it is never "for the children."  Here is another perfect example of the inner workings of the teacher's union determining school policy.   The union is in charge of everything.    Albert Shanker, then president of the American Federation of Teachers said,  "When students start paying union dues we'll be concerned about the students."   (paraphrased from memory)    That sums up the union's regard for education and children.    The union shop is the union shop no matter where it is "organizing."    Our children are pawns in their game.

Union resisting school board effort to ban tobacco use on all campuses

LAND O’LAKES, Fla. – Officials in Pasco County, Florida recently learned the health and welfare of students and staff is a subject of collective bargaining with the district’s teachers union.

Apparently the contract with the United School Employees of Pasco County dictates certain campuses opened before July 1996 can have designated smoking areas for staff use, although tobacco is banned at newer schools, the Tampa Bay Times reports.

The school district’s health advisory committee recently sent a letter to school board members urging them to make all campuses tobacco free, a move that would “limit your youth’s exposure to tobacco products, and slow their rates of tobacco use and addiction,” the committee wrote.

But the teachers union contract requires faculty and staff to unanimously approve a transition to  tobacco-free campuses, a 17-year-old provision that impacts about 60 percent of the county’s schools.
Since the provision was approved, numerous restaurants, colleges and other businesses have gone tobacco free, but union officials aren’t interested in making the change, at least not right now, the Times reports.
“We just finished negotiations,” USEP President Lynne Webb told the news site. “There has to be a compelling reason to reopen negotiations.”

The health and safety of students isn’t compelling enough?

Webb said teachers have more important issues to work on, like implementing Common Core standards. She said the district will just have to wait until next year’s negotiations to broach the subject.

While it’s bad enough that a simple decision about the health of students is a subject of union bargaining, the “unanimous” approval needed to make the change ensures the teachers union ultimately holds the final say on the matter.

The school district’s health committee suggested a change in the contract language to allow a tobacco ban by a simple majority vote, but there is an even better solution.

Why not eliminate all union contract provisions that give the union decision-making power over student or staff health issues?

It’s clear district officials are frustrated with the union’s disinterest.

“Under the policy, it is possible that the Pasco County school district could never be smoke-free,” assistant superintendent Ray Gadd told the Times.

Gadd acknowledged that there’s not much the district can do about the issue until the union decides to cooperate, but vowed that “we’re not going to drop it.”
